It was a sunny day so I strolled around Old Imperial Palace, whose park, Gyoen is open to the public. Then there I happened to meet an attractive Bulldog

Her name is Meggy. We jumped and sniffed each other

Gyoen is one of my favorite places. There is a brook where fresh well water is running. I enjoy drinking it after walking

And beautiful trees and singing birds....lots of attractive thinkgs

3rd Feb is the day of the traditional end of winter in Japan. The day's main event is people's throwing beans shouting "Fortune in and demons out". Here in Kyoto many temples hold the bean-scattering ceremony.

I went to Yasaka Temple in Gion. It was raining, but still there was large crows of visitors.

Maiko, apprentice Geisha also participated in this event for their performance. Look at those beautiful girls

I managed to get three packs of beans plus one which I bought. Lucky me

Hope all of us will be leading a happy and healthy life this year
